Chap. 4, pg. 5: Fix
Learning moment from this page: Be more careful with the lettering. I don’t know if I rushed or what, but it’s not great. As usual, I like that trinity of panels at the top. Apparently when I imagine a guardhouse, it’s somewhere between the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s office, Blazing Saddles, and Don Knotts. Cats remain a difficult 3D shape, similar in configuration to vehicles.
Important update note (repeated message): I’m going to take the next week off (12/24-1/1). We’ll start up again on Jan. 2nd with two pages a week instead of three (Tues, Sat).
Edit: 1/2’s page is almost entirely inked. Gotta go to sleep. Will be up tomorrow (1/2, that is) in the p.m. I worked a LOT on NLL this week but what I worked on… was not inking pages for upload.
Aww Paolo is distracted. I like how you illustrated this with the leaning and the dialogue.
