No Love Lost

Learning moment from this page: : Interestingly, I realize the story has been operating under this protocol of characters not experiencing emotions they can’t shut off. If something comes up, they just shove it down and move on to avoid the hazards emotion would entail. So, Imma make things worse (the plot always called for things to get worse, but it’s interesting to realize that’s why it’s hard to connect with what I’m drawing sometimes, or why it feels occasionally dispassionate).
