Learning moment from this page: : Well, one thing I learned from studying Tiger Tiger (Petra Nordlund) is that everything has a color/texture. I don’t like using tones (though I happily read a lot of stuff that does), which means stuff can look too sharp, too white and black for the way that I draw. In Tiger Tiger, almost nothing is left pure black and white: people’s skin colors, the buildup of outfit textures, the rich blacks of the interiors. It’s an education.
